Q. Why the hell did you do that?

A. Glad you asked. Since the dawning of Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter, landing pages have all but gone the way of … well … Friendster.

And while I’m certainly still working on a slick new multimedia site for Ryan Wendell Bauer & the MIDI Sixteen (my band), I wanted a site where you could get all of my track and gig updates as well as my personal videos, rants, and daily ephemera — all in one place.

In one string.

Like a kabob.
