Here’s the first three minutes of Paul Reubens’ new Pee-wee Herman Show. Looks effin’ amazing. Wish I could make it out to L.A. this month to see it.

NOTE TO SELF: When performing 1.5 emcees’ duties on one of the wordiest hip-hop tracks out there, and your lungs are burning from the icy air, don’t still insist on dancing around on stage. My lungs recovered by my second verse. Too. Many. Words.

After dedicating the set to Michael Jackson, Bauer (pictured left) started a keyboard/synth beat as background to a conversational intro with him making puppet-like hand gestures and mixing a kind of rap/poetry-slam/haiku singing style that I had never seen or heard. I heard a girl proclaim “I love this guy! I just wanna hug him!”; my thoughts exactly.

Ladies? Let the hugging commence.
